Mason threw a party for all his friends, which was tons of fun (and very adorable). We also carved his first pumpkin! Here are the highlights

Hi there! Your Mason is absolutely gorgeous and it looks like he has a wonderful, wonderful family. I’m a mom of 3 from Canada and just finished looking through Mason’s website. Our youngest guy (Jack) just had his first surgery to repair a complete unilateral cleft lip and it was so great to be able to see this site and all the photos you’ve posted – thanks so much! We are also very happy with the results from the first surgery – although, I think they might do things a little differently in the U.S. Jack is scheduled for his palate repair and a second revision of his nose at the end of October 2009. I have to say that Mason’s nose looks terrific and I wonder if you could tell me how long you left the nasal stints in after his lip repair? Jack’s stints were sutured in for 2 weeks post-op, but we’re noticing some collapse of his nostril. The Cleft Palate Team at our children’s hospital suggested taping the stint in place for up to 4 months to further support the cartilage…. since your results have been so fantastic, I wondered how long Mason had his stints. Thanks again for posting your pictures and story – it really was inspirational to me and I’m so happy that your little man is doing so well. His happiness is a testament to how great his Mom and Dad are, you know. : )
I was doing some research on ear tubes and came across your site, Its amazing the procedures your lil man underwent and the beautiful outcome. He has a perfect smile that lights up a heart instantly. Its so nice that you shared your story and his. As i never knew the whole process of the surgery before and going through reading and seeing the pictures made me realize no surgery is every small. Your lil man did a great job going through it all. Thank you again for sharing.
